In this class, participants will learn how to harvest and create holiday wreaths with clippings from the meadows and woodlands, for holiday decorations to keep or give as gifts. You will be able to make 3 wreaths during the class. There will be a choice of fall or winter/Christmas wreaths. The instructor says, “We've been creating wreaths from branches, decorative grasses, wildflowers and other natural growth for some 25 years now. Our desire is to introduce you to a new understanding and interest in all that is provided in the meadows and woodlands of our awesome land.” The instructor will supply all of the needed materials. Dress weather appropriate, we will be walking through the woods on the property.
Jo Meyer lives in Dent, MN. She says, “I'm first a “farm girl”. Raised learning and doing all that it takes to live and work the farm life – I was mainly in the fields and barn yard. In my 40's – having raised a ½ dozen kids – I decided to try crafting – working with natural growth – sticks and weeds were my favorites. 30 years later I'm still doing it.” She has 25 years of having wreath camps giving demos and classes to all who are curious creators.
